TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Dignity and Safeguarding in Adult Health and Social Care (RQF).
Who is the course suitable for?
Anybody working in a role that involves safeguarding or anybody aiming to develop their knowledge of safeguarding/individual dignity.
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.
The TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Dignity and Safeguarding in Adult Health and Social Care (RQF) develops learners’ knowledge and understanding of a range of issues around respecting and protecting the individual dignity of the individual in a care scenario. Learners will be given an understanding of safeguarding in adult health and social are, the principles of dignity as it relates to adult health and social care, duty of care and dilemmas and public concerns in adult health and social care. This qualification is primarily designed to prepare learners for further learning or training.

Length of Course
145 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) over 3-6 months.
The assessment for the course will be undertaken through a range of workbooks.
Successful learners can progress to other qualifications such as:

- TQUK Level 2 Award in Awareness of Dementia (RQF)

- TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England (RQF)
Delivery methods for the course may vary but will involve either taught sessions or distance learning.
