TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Mental Health Awareness (RQF).
Who is the course suitable for?
Anybody working with someone who has mental ill health or anybody aiming to develop their knowledge of mental health.
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
The qualification is suitable for learners of 19 years of age and above.
The purpose of the qualification is to develop learners’ understanding of a range of mental health issues including stress, anxiety, depression, phobias, and other conditions which may significantly affect the mental health of a person and how to respond to them. It is aimed at learners who are involved in the delivery of mental health services but do not hold a related professional qualification.
This qualification is designed to develop knowledge and skills in this subject area.

130 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) over 3-6 months.
